Classical Monsterhearts Skins

Hi there!

I'm Helen (she/he/they), a writer, editor, and sensitivity consultant based in London. This is a free set of Monsterhearts playbooks based on figures from Greek mythology, which I originally wrote way back in 2016 and which were hosted on Google+.

Obviously that no longer exists, so after receiving some requests for these character sheets and hearing that people would be interested to try them out, I decided to put them somewhere that wasn't just my local files!

This file contains the following sheets:

• The Bacchus
• The Cassandra
• The Medea
• The Hercules
• The Ganymede
• The Orestes
• The Fury

I made these with the benefit of a lot of feedback from my Monsterhearts group at the time, including layout from a designer friend. I've made a few amendments since - mostly typos and minor amendments to moves - but otherwise, they're the same.

I'm currently offering these for free for a few reasons:

1. They've been free since 2016, so it doesn't seem right to charge when I haven't made any substantial changes since then
2. I can't afford a proper PDF editor at the moment, so they're all watermarked (though still readable!) and some of the formatting is probably iffy now
3. The images are just pictures I took from Google all those years ago and which were altered in editing software; I don't own the copyright for them, so my hazy knowledge of the law around that means I can't make money off them

HOWEVER, in future I would like to provide these character sheets on a pay-what-you-want basis.

I will only do this when I have the disposable income to remove the watermarks and pay for original art, and when I have the time to go over it all with a fine tooth comb. I'd like to add another character sheet too; maybe an Odysseus or Patroclus, I'm not sure.

It will take a while for this to happen though - at least six months or so, possibly not until 2024! - so don't hold your breath.
